2016 has been an eventful year for us, with no event being more delightful and prominent than our son, Stephen´s, wedding to Melissa Markham on August 4 near Dallas, Texas. In addition to being a lovely and unforgettable moment, the wedding provided our extended family with an opportunity to get everyone together … a feat that is getting more difficult as our family grows. We had everyone present except for Marcie´s husband, Craig, who we missed very much. His medical school studies and internships limit travel flexibility for now. We stayed a week, rented a house, swam, boated, played games, and enjoyed one another´s company. Joni and I adore our family … they are all great people. Each child, son- or daughter-in-law, and grandchild is unique and special in his or her own way. Back at home in Washington, UT, I continue as CEO of DataSmart Solutions, a Leavitt Group company, headquartered in Helena, MT. Joni works twice a week at the St George LDS Temple, and I continue running long distance for fun…it clears my mind to write. Follow me on Twitter at @jprince_author.
Jon and Joni have been back in the USA from Colombia for about one year. Jon accepted employment as CEO of DataSmart Solutions, a healthcare-facing data warehousing and predictive analytics company headquartered in Helena, MT (for more information see http://www.thinkdatasmart.com). DataSmart is a rapidly-growing subsidiary of The Leavitt Group, which is based in Cedar City, UT. Jon is able to work most of the time at Leavitt Headquarters in Southern Utah where he and Joni are happier with the warmer year-round climate and have bought a home in Coral Canyon.
Southern Utah provides Jon and Joni with access to their parents who are advancing in age (Jon´s parents, move regularly with the weather between their New Harmony and Bloomington residences, while Joni´s father and step-mother reside in Brigham City). Their five children are scattered between Phoenix, Dallas, Richmond and Arlington, VA, and Newtown, CT. Joni likes to spend time visiting children and grandchildren, walking in the many scenic areas for recreation, reading, and helping others. Jon continues to run in the early mornings, read and write on occasion, and watch movies with Joni.
In early 2011, Jon was called with his wife to serve as Mission President for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over the Cali, Colombia Mission in South America. Beginning in July of 2011 and for the ensuing three years, they will supervise the efforts of approximately 160 missionaries stationed in 7 Stakes, 5 districts, and 2 branches located in western Colombian cities and towns from the Panama border to Ecuador.

Sego is also a minority investor with Goodboro LLC in various projects located in Utah.
